In Trails of Cold Steel IV, you start off with full control of a party of people to control, and your overall goal is to win…at least the battle at hand.

In battle, you have all sorts of little mechanics that come in handy. The mechanic you learn about first is the party swap mechanic. This mechanic is important because it means that you can better coordinate your attacks with your other party members.
