RAID: Shadow Legends Review

RAID: Shadow Legends Review

RAID: Shadow Legends is a mobile game developed and published by the company Plarium.

RAID: Shadow Legends(or Raid: SL) is at its core a Gacha game.

Gacha games are video games that adapt and virtualize the gacha (capsule-toy vending machine) mechanic. In the monetization of video games it is similar to loot box, in inducing players to spend money. Most of these games are free-to-play mobile games. In gacha games, players spend virtual currency, which can be from a machine; however real money is usually eventually spent to obtain the virtual currency and opportunities to use it.

But with that said, Raid: SL is a pretty fun game overall. I mean, as small as it may be it offers a campaign mode and even some strategy is needed to finish some levels.

Also, the graphics are very good for a mobile game and the fact that you can switch it between 30fps and 60 fps (depending on your device) is a good feature to have.

Yes, it is a very grindy game, but it is a good timewaster.
